Under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), CompuMed, Inc., is a "Business Associate" of "Covered Entities" (CompuMed customers - if applicable). If your facility is a customer of CompuMed, Inc. and is considered a "Covered Entity" under HIPAA, you must have a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with CompuMed, Inc.
