Unable to transmit ECG (LCD reads: Transmit Failure / Connection Failure)
Unable to store (save) ECG
Keep getting Directory Error, Directory reset, and Configuration Error

Unable to transmit ECG (LCD reads: Transmit Failure / Connection Failure)
  • Check for non-busy phone line
  • Check Patient Directory for status
  • Check configuration set-up for:
    - Valid site number
    - Valid CompuMed phone number
    - Correct baud rate connection
Unable to store (save) ECG
  • No available memory, transmit or delete ECG from the directory
  • Battery low, charge the battery for 12Hrs, turn the main power switch (on back) to on
Keep getting Directory Error, Directory reset, and Configuration Error
Reset configuration parameters and charge the battery for 12Hrs
System displays waiting for good data or plots traces of boxes or muscle tremor
  • Re-prep patient and change electrodes with new ones
  • Clean clips in hot soapy water and brush with toothbrush
  • Check leads RL, RA, LA, LL, for failure, a V lead may be in failure if in combination with one more of the stated limb leads
Unable to print ECG
Charge the battery for 12Hrs
Unable to print ECG though the battery is charged
Writer cover open, close writer cover and press ENTER
Unable to print ECG though the battery is charged and the writer cover is closed
Check for: no paper loaded, end of paper roll, and presence of paper extending out of paper through
