Mr. Vecchione, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Vecchione joined the Company in June 2007 after being a consultant to CompuMed in providing strategic advisory. Mr. Vecchione serves as a managing partner of private equity and venture fund Synthetica Holdings, LLC, and chairman of Synthetica (America) Ltd., a management consultancy (since 2001). Mr. Vecchione created significant shareholder value through public transactions and mergers & acquisitions. He established and has led Synthetica's imaging practice, and served as a consultant to leading life sciences, medical device and clinical research organizations. Mr. Vecchione served as president and CEO of Trestle Holdings (2004-2006), a medical imaging and digital pathology company. He also served as CEO of Microwave Photonics, Inc (2003-2004). Mr. Vecchione co-founded (1988) and held various senior-level positions at medical imaging and rendering company ModaCAD; he was responsible for architecting numerous rounds of financing, including a significant investment by Intel. In 2001, he executed as co-CEO the sale of the Company to USA Networks for $480 million. Mr. Vecchione was twice nominated finalist by Ernst & Young as Entrepreneur of the Year. He has received many awards, including the British Telecommunication "innovation" award and the prestigious DemoGod award. He has led the development of significant imaging technologies, and authored multiple issued patents.

 

Phuong Dang, Controller and Secretary of the Corporation
Ms. Dang has 25 years of corporate accounting and finance experience in the healthcare field. Prior to joining CompuMed in 1990, she served as Accounting Manager for the Maxicare Medical Center system. At CompuMed, Ms Dang supervises the Company’s public financial reporting, payroll and accounting, human resources and administrative staff. She was responsible for progressive increases in the productivity of the Company’s billing and collections activities. Ms. Dang has a degree in Accounting from West Los Angeles College.

 

Xiaoli Bi, M.S., Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Ms. Bi joined the R&D Department at CompuMed in 1998. She has been in charge of the development of the automated OsteoGram and the arthritis application software. She is the major inventor of its OsteoGram system patent, Arthritis patent (pending) and co-inventor of the segmentation patent. She worked as a senior system analyst for R&D department of OsteoGram Analysis Center of Merck & Co. before joining CompuMed. Her background includes computer programming, image processing and mathematical algorithm development. She earned her B.S degree in Mechanical Engineering from TongJi University, Shanghai, China (1982) and her M.S. degree in Biological Systems Engineering from University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1995).

 

Louai Al-Dayeh, M.D., Ph.D., Scientific Director
Dr. Al-Dayeh joined the R&D department at CompuMed in 1998. He participated in the development of the automated OsteoGram and is the co-inventor of its OsteoGram system patent and Arthritis patent (pending). His background includes general medicine, signal and image processing and medical imaging. Dr. Al-Dayeh is a general practitioner MD (1988) who obtained graduate degrees from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, M.S. in Electrical Engineering (1997) and Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering (1999).

Simon James
Chairman
Simon James is a consultant to Oaktree Capital Management, LLC, Principal Opportunities Fund. Prior to joining Oaktree in January 2005, Mr. James was an Associate Principal with McKinsey & Company, Inc., where he was responsible for developing, negotiating and leading complex strategic and operational turnarounds in a broad range of industries. Mr. James received a PhD in finance and a bachelor's degree in Natural Science from Cambridge University. At Oaktree, Mr. James specializes on cross border opportunities - particularly those involving partnering with Chinese companies. Mr. James is also a board director of Wright Line, LLC., a leading manufacturer of technical furniture and datacenter enclosures and a portfolio company of Oaktree Capital.

 

Mark Stolper
Mark Stolper is the Chief Financial Officer of RadNet, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed leading owner and operator of medical diagnostic imaging centers. From January 2001 to July 2004, Mr. Stolper was a partner at Broadstream Capital Partners, LLC and West Coast Capital, a Los Angeles-based investment banking firm focused on advising middle market companies engaged in financing and merger and acquisition transactions. Prior to joining Broadstream, Mr. Stolper was responsible for business development and mergers and acquisitions for Eastman Kodak's entertainment companies and its online image licensing business, Picture Network International. Mr. Stolper has also served as a member of Archon Capital Partners, Dillon, Read & Co., Inc., and Saratoga Partners, LLP. Mr. Stolper graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and received a finance degree from the Wharton School. Mr. Stolper has assisted RadNet in growing its revenue from $137 million to more than $400 million and has raised over $600 million of capital for the company. During this time, RadNet's market capitalization and stock price has expanded by more than 10 times. RadNet is leading owner and operator of freestanding medical diagnostic imaging centers in the U.S. with approximately 4,000 employees and 129 facilities in seven states. RadNet performs more than 2.5 million imaging exams each year.

 

Charles Gillman
Charles M. Gillman is the president of Value Fund Advisors, LLC, an investment advisor to Boston Avenue Capital, LLC, and to Yorktown Avenue Capital, LLC, a stockholder of the Company.
