The OsteoClick™ is a new CAD application that will enable hospital and office-based clinicians to submit a DICOM image to an off-site server for immediate diagnosis on a pay-per-use, ASP (Application Service Provider)-style business model. This model is a natural extension of CompuMed’s CardioGram offering, which enables medical providers worldwide to receive an electrocardiogram (ECG) over-read by one of CompuMed’s cardiologists. The OsteoClick is ideal for low-volume accounts or those with PACS (Picture Archive Communication Systems) networks that wish to fully automate their bone mineral density (BMD) testing.
